Uniden Bearcat BC125AT

The Uniden BC125AT is a 500 Alpha Tagged Channel Bearcat Handheld Scanner. The Bearcat BC125AT Handheld Scanner has a feature called Close Call RF Capture Technology which instantly tunes to signals from nearby transmitters and the Close Call Do Not Disturb Mode prevents close call checks during a transmission.

This radio is compact and features Weather Alert technology and is capable of attaching to civilian and military air bands. In addition, it also has a built-in auto service Searches like Police, Fire, Ham, Marine, Air, RailRoads and more.

Best scanner on the market for the money

For my money, this is the best scanner available on the market today. It's portable and rechargeable and you can easily program the stations you use most frequently. The sound quality and volume are great and the scanner is lightweight, yet sturdy. The best thing about the Uniden Bearcat is that you can connect it to a computer. The software is available on the company's website and it's free to download!

Great battery life and a steal of a deal

I'm thrilled with my purchase of the Uniden Bearcat BC125 scanner! I researched portablescanners before my purchase and feel like this one has all the bells and whistles I wanted and it's very affordable. (This site had the lowest price of any I found AND I got free next day shipping. Can't beat that.) My favorite feature of the scanner is the ability to charge it using a USB connection. I can use it in my vehicle all day long and not worry about running out of battery.

Best scanner I've used in years!

We like having a scanner at NASCAR races to listen to our drivers' radio traffic. We've used several models over the years, but this one is the best so far. I linked it to my computer which made programming the frequencies really easy. It's also got a weather alert which is helpful at the races. I did purchase the protection plan after talking with customer service who informed me that it would offer extra protection if the scanner stopped working. Thanks for that helpful piece of advice!
