The Uniden Bearcat BC365CRS is a Christmas gift for our daughter. Therefore, it has not been put in use yet. I'm sure she will love it. Will keep you posted after Christmas.
We are very pleased with our Uniden Scanner purchase. Our previous one "died" so we were anxious to replace it. It has worked well so far and we highly recommend the Factory Outlet Store and will purchase from them again if necessary.

Had a similar desktop, it finally quit working. Purchased this one, due to COVID-19 it was back-ordered. After waiting an extra 2-3 week period finally arrived. Love it !! Easy to set up and the sound is clear. Thank You !
My old Bearcat 210-xl finally died. I needed a simple scanner to replace it. This has filled the void! My area is slowly going digital and this was the perfect price to stay informed until I need to up date to digital.
I have been into scanners since 1972. I had a Bearcat BCT-15X/BCD996P2 and sold them as my area isn't digital/trunking . This little scanner has amazing audio and sensitivity. The vhf low/hi/uhf is unbelievable for a unit in this price range. There is no intermod compared to Whistler WS-1025 and has great volume/squelch knobs. The back light is perfect too. It does require 3-AA batteries for clock back-up for up to 24 hours.
Old school meets new format entry is subtitle. Aside from QRM birdies and the usual, the old Bearcats made keyboard entries easier. Older ones weren't such a pain in the neck deleting stuff or putting it into another bank without putting it in a bathtub along with a live toaster on a non GFI outlet. I added a dual BNC for adding another antenna so I get better low frequency without messing up the impedance. I'll get used to it eventually. No! I won't sell mine. Keep kool kids, ^
