The Motorola BCD396XT Handheld Trunk Tracker IV Digital Scanner employs band scope to tune into signals from nearby transmitters. An easy to read display and 100 quick buttons allows quick access to features. The radio features Specific Area Message Encoding, so during an NOAA weather or emergency alert, a code for your specific location will alert you to severe conditions in the immediate area.

This digital scanner also features DCS/CTCSS Rapid Decode, which instantly detects and displays the subaudible tone, so you can quickly determine the system settings. The multi colored display shows feedback of the calling or monitoring features. The Motorola BCD396XT also includes close call RF capture technology, which instantly tunes to signals from nearby transmitters.
